Clean messy CSV exports before import—privately
CRM, ecommerce, and ops exports are rarely import-ready. Duplicate rows, padded cells, mixed
delimiters, and broken emails waste time in HubSpot, Shopify, Sheets, or warehouse loads.
Structura’s CSV Cleaner analyzes a file in your browser, lets you choose fixes, previews the
result, and downloads cleaned.csv—without uploading the sheet.
Built for marketing ops, sales ops, analysts, and anyone handling customer lists or financial exports where “upload to clean” is the wrong tradeoff. Core cleaning works today; CRM import presets are coming soon.
What you can detect and fix
- Normalize delimiter to comma; fix duplicate headers
- Trim whitespace; drop empty rows; drop exact duplicate rows
- Light encoding cleanup for replacement characters
- Normalize unambiguous dates when patterns are clear
- Flag invalid emails; optional phone formatting strip in phone/mobile/tel columns only

Worked example
Input includes padded cells, a duplicate Ada row, and bad@@mail. Click Analyze
to see issue counts, keep the fixes you want, then Clean & preview. You get a trimmed
CSV with the duplicate removed and a short report of what changed. Optional phone cleanup
never invents country codes—it only strips formatting in phone-like columns.
Privacy, retention, and limits
Cleaning is local-first. Structura does not upload your CSV for processing and does not
retain file contents as server-side storage. Analytics may note tool runs and paste vs file
source only. Safety ceilings: about 5 MB or 20,000 rows. Excel .xlsx is
not supported yet—export CSV first. Free, no account.
Treat Analyze as a read-only pass: it surfaces issues so you can decide which fixes to
apply. Clean & preview never silently invents emails or country codes. When the file
looks right, download cleaned.csv or convert with
CSV → JSON for app use.

FAQ
Does my data get uploaded or stored?
No. Conversion and cleaning run entirely in your browser. Structura does not upload your paste or file for processing and does not retain file contents on a server. Closing the tab clears the in-memory copy.
Is processing private / local-only?
Yes for the tool’s job. Your payload stays on the device. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics may record page views and anonymous events such as tool runs, paste vs file, and copy/download—never the contents of your JSON or CSV.
What size limits apply?
Browser safety ceilings apply at about 5 MB or 20,000 rows, whichever you hit first.
What formats are supported?
Delimited text (comma, semicolon, tab, pipe). Paste or CSV/text file. Excel .xlsx is not supported—export CSV first.
Will Structura change my phone country codes?
No. Optional phone cleanup only strips formatting characters. Country codes are never inferred.
What issues can Structura detect?
Duplicate rows and headers, whitespace, empty rows, mixed delimiters, basic email problems, encoding replacement characters, and optional phone formatting in phone-like columns.
Do I need an account?
No. All Structura tools are free to use without signup.
