How it works

  1. Enter your selling price and the tax included in it (enter 0 if your prices exclude tax).
  2. Add product cost, shipping, packaging, ad spend, and your marketplace and payment fees.
  3. Read profit per sale, net margin, and the break-even price as you type.
  4. Add monthly volume and fixed costs, test a discount, and copy a link to share the calculation.

Know your real profit per order

A product that sells for ₹999 and costs ₹320 looks like it makes ₹679. After 18% GST inside the price, a 12% commission, a fixed order fee, payment processing, shipping, packaging, ads, and returns, the real number is about ₹222, and a 20% discount drops it to about ₹86. This calculator shows every deduction so you can price with confidence (those are its default inputs, so you can check the math).

It works for any marketplace or your own store: Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Etsy, eBay, Shopify, WooCommerce, or Instagram selling. Enter the commission and fees from your own fee statement, since fees vary by category, region, and plan.

What it calculates

How tax is handled

If your selling price includes GST or VAT, enter the rate and the calculator removes it before calculating margin, because that money is owed to the government. Commission and payment fees are calculated on the full price the customer pays, which is how most marketplaces charge.

FAQ

Does my data get uploaded or stored?

No. Processing runs entirely in your browser. Structura does not upload your files for processing and does not keep file contents on a server. Closing the tab clears the in-memory copy.

Is processing private / local-only?

Yes for the tool’s job. Your files stay on the device. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics may record page views and anonymous events such as tool runs and downloads, never file contents or file names.

What is the difference between margin and markup?

Margin is profit divided by the selling price; markup is profit divided by cost. A product that costs 100 and sells for 150 has a 33.3% margin and a 50% markup.

How is the break-even price calculated?

It is the selling price at which profit is exactly zero after all per-unit costs, percentage fees, tax, and the returns allowance.

Does it include marketplace fee tables?

No. Fees differ by marketplace, category, region, and seller plan and change often. Enter the commission and fixed fee shown on your own fee statement for accurate results.

Can I save or share a calculation?

Yes. Your inputs are stored in the page link. Use Copy link to bookmark it or send it to a partner.

Do I need an account?

No. All Structura tools are free to use without signup.
