Bank Reconciliation in Excel, Done Automatically

Upload the bank statement and your ledger export, and get the matched items, the unmatched items, and an Excel reconciliation report in a minute.

Processed in your browser. Files never leave your device.

How it works

  1. Export the statement from net banking as Excel or CSV (or use the PDF).
  2. Export the bank ledger from your accounting software or spreadsheet.
  3. Upload both, confirm the date and amount columns, and click Reconcile.
  4. Download the Excel report and post the missing entries in your books.

From two exports to a bank reconciliation statement

The usual Excel approach is a COUNTIFS or MATCH on the amount column of each sheet, then a manual pass for the lines that match on amount but not date, and another for payouts that were booked as several entries. It works until two transactions share an amount.

Structura pairs each bank line with exactly one book entry, preferring the closest date and the most similar description, then looks for split payments. The report has four sheets: a summary with both totals and the unmatched amounts, the matched pairs, items only in the bank, and items only in your books.

FAQ

Does my data get uploaded or stored?

No. Processing runs entirely in your browser. Structura does not upload your files for processing and does not keep file contents on a server. Closing the tab clears the in-memory copy.

Is processing private / local-only?

Yes for the tool’s job. Your files stay on the device. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics may record page views and anonymous events such as tool runs and downloads, never file contents or file names.

What is a bank reconciliation statement?

A statement that explains the difference between the bank balance in your books and the balance on the bank statement, item by item, such as unpresented cheques, deposits in transit, and bank charges.

How often should I reconcile?

Monthly at minimum, when the statement arrives. Busy accounts are easier to reconcile weekly because there are fewer unmatched items to investigate.

Will it post entries to my accounting software?

No. It tells you what is missing; you post the entries yourself. Nothing is uploaded or connected to your accounts.

Do I need an account?

No. All Structura tools are free to use without signup.
