Watermark a PDF

Mark every page as a draft, confidential, or yours, before you share the file.

Your PDF is processed in your browser and never uploaded.

How it works

  1. Choose a PDF.
  2. Type the watermark text and adjust layout, size, angle, color, and opacity.
  3. Click Add watermark and download.

Watermarks that stay readable

The text is drawn onto each page at the opacity you choose, so the content underneath stays easy to read. A light diagonal CONFIDENTIAL or DRAFT discourages forwarding and makes the status of a document obvious when it is printed.

A watermark is visible text, not protection: it can be removed by someone determined to.

FAQ

Does my data get uploaded or stored?

No. Processing runs entirely in your browser. Structura does not upload your files for processing and does not keep file contents on a server. Closing the tab clears the in-memory copy.

Is processing private / local-only?

Yes for the tool’s job. Your files stay on the device. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics may record page views and anonymous events such as tool runs and downloads, never file contents or file names.

How do I add a watermark to a PDF?

Choose the PDF, type the text, choose the layout and opacity, and click Add watermark.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Enter the pages, for example 2-5, in the Pages box.

Do I need an account?

No. All Structura tools are free to use without signup.
