How it works
- Choose the statement PDF downloaded from your bank or card provider.
- Leave "Join tables that continue across pages" on so the whole statement becomes one table.

- Download Excel: amounts become real numbers, including negatives written as

Convert statements without uploading them
Most statement converters upload your PDF to their servers. A bank statement contains your name, account number, balances, and every transaction, so that is a real privacy cost. Structura reads the PDF in your browser, finds the transaction table by the way the columns line up, and builds the spreadsheet on your computer.
Amounts in Indian (1,23,456.00) and international (123,456.00) formats are converted to numbers in Excel, with debit markers such as parentheses, trailing minus signs, and DR handled. Dates and descriptions stay as text so nothing is reinterpreted.
Works best with
- Statements downloaded from net banking or card portals (they contain selectable text)
- Tables with one transaction per line; long descriptions that wrap may need a quick tidy-up
Not supported
Scanned or photographed statements are images and would need OCR. Password-protected PDFs must be saved without a password first (most PDF viewers can "print to PDF"). Always check totals against the original before using the data for accounting or tax.

FAQ
Does my data get uploaded or stored?
No. Processing runs entirely in your browser. Structura does not upload your files for processing and does not keep file contents on a server. Closing the tab clears the in-memory copy.
Is processing private / local-only?
Yes for the tool’s job. Your files stay on the device. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics may record page views and anonymous events such as tool runs and downloads, never file contents or file names.
Is it safe to convert my bank statement here?
The PDF is processed in your browser and never uploaded to Structura. Nothing is stored after you close the tab.
Why does it say my statement has no text layer?
The PDF is a scanned image. Download the statement again from your bank’s website, which usually provides a text-based PDF.
My statement is password protected. What can I do?
Open it with the password in a PDF viewer and save or print it to a new PDF without a password, then convert that copy.
Do I need an account?
No. All Structura tools are free to use without signup.
