Get tables out of PDFs without retyping them
Price lists, invoices, bank and card statements, financial reports, and research papers often arrive as PDFs. Copying a table out of a PDF usually pastes everything into one column. Structura reads the position of every piece of text on the page, finds where columns line up, and rebuilds the rows and columns.
Because financial documents are sensitive, everything happens in your browser. The PDF is not uploaded to a conversion server.

- Multiple tables per page and tables that continue across pages (repeated headers are removed)
- Left- and right-aligned columns, including amounts
- Numbers like
1,234.50,1,23,456.00,(250.00),250.00-, and₹ 999, converted to real numbers in Excel - Page ranges, so you can skip cover pages and terms
Limits
Works on PDFs with a text layer, which covers most PDFs generated by software. Scanned documents and photos of paper are images and would need OCR, which this tool does not do. Complex layouts with merged cells or text wrapping inside cells may need a quick tidy-up; check the preview before relying on the numbers. Files up to 50 MB.

FAQ
Does my data get uploaded or stored?
No. Processing runs entirely in your browser. Structura does not upload your files for processing and does not keep file contents on a server. Closing the tab clears the in-memory copy.
Is processing private / local-only?
Yes for the tool’s job. Your files stay on the device. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics may record page views and anonymous events such as tool runs and downloads, never file contents or file names.
How do I convert a PDF table to Excel?
Choose the PDF, click Extract tables, check the preview, and click Download Excel. Each table becomes its own sheet, with amounts stored as numbers.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
No. Scanned PDFs are pictures of text and need OCR. If you cannot select the text in a PDF viewer, this tool will report that there is no text layer.
Why are some columns split or merged?
Table detection relies on how text lines up on the page. Try the "Whole page as one table" option, or limit the page range to the pages with the table. Wrapped text inside a cell can appear as an extra row.
Is it safe for bank statements?
The file is processed entirely in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by Structura. Always check extracted figures before using them for accounting.
Do I need an account?
No. All Structura tools are free to use without signup.
