How it works

Split a CSV that is too big to open or import
Large exports run into limits everywhere: Excel stops at 1,048,576 rows, many import tools cap uploads at a few thousand rows or a few megabytes, and email bounces big attachments. Splitting the file into parts that each keep the header row solves all three.
Splitting by a column is useful for sending each region, store, salesperson, or client only their
own rows. Parts are named after the value, such as North.csv.

- Rows are located with a quote-aware scan, so a line break inside a quoted cell never splits a record

FAQ
Does my data get uploaded or stored?
No. Processing runs entirely in your browser. Structura does not upload your files for processing and does not keep file contents on a server. Closing the tab clears the in-memory copy.
Is processing private / local-only?
Yes for the tool’s job. Your files stay on the device. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics may record page views and anonymous events such as tool runs and downloads, never file contents or file names.
How do I split a CSV file into multiple files?
Upload it, enter how many rows each file should have, and click Split. Download the ZIP to get every part with the header row repeated.
Can I split a CSV by the values in a column?
Yes. Choose One file per value of and pick the column. Each distinct value, such as each region, becomes its own file. Blank values go into a file named (blank).
Will it break rows that contain line breaks?
No. Line breaks inside quoted cells are recognized, so each record stays whole.
How large a file can I split?
Up to 25 MB free, or 200 MB with Structura Pro. Everything runs in your browser, so very large files depend on your device memory.
Do I need an account?
