How it works

  1. Upload the .xlsx file.
  2. Keep every sheet ticked, or untick the ones you do not need.
  3. Pick the delimiter your system expects: comma for most tools, semicolon for European Excel.
  4. Download a ZIP with one CSV per sheet.

Why Save As CSV in Excel is not enough

Excel's Save As CSV writes only the sheet you are looking at, so a 12-sheet workbook means twelve rounds of Save As. It also uses the list separator from your regional settings and, in older versions, a legacy encoding that turns names like José and symbols like ₹ into garbage.

Here every sheet is exported in one go, in UTF-8, with the delimiter you choose. Leading zeros in codes are kept, Excel dates become real dates, and long numeric IDs stay exact.

FAQ

Does my data get uploaded or stored?

No. Processing runs entirely in your browser. Structura does not upload your files for processing and does not keep file contents on a server. Closing the tab clears the in-memory copy.

Is processing private / local-only?

Yes for the tool’s job. Your files stay on the device. Optional Cloudflare Web Analytics may record page views and anonymous events such as tool runs and downloads, never file contents or file names.

Is XLSX to CSV conversion free?

Yes, for workbooks up to 5 MB and 20,000 rows per sheet. Structura Pro raises the limits to 25 MB and 100,000 rows.

What is the difference between CSV UTF-8 and CSV?

CSV UTF-8 stores every character, including accents and currency symbols, in a standard encoding. All files here are UTF-8; add the BOM if Excel is the program that will open them.

Can I choose a semicolon instead of a comma?

Yes. Choose Semicolon in the Delimiter list. Tab and pipe are available too.

Do I need an account?
